About Dr. Thompson
Gary Thompson, D.V.M., Diplomate ABVP (Canine/Feline) is a board-certified specialist in Canine/Feline practice whose area of professional focus is orthopedics, including cranial cruciate ligament (ACL) repair, fracture repair, and arthroscopic procedures. He was the first to perform many orthopedic procedures in northwest Ohio like the TPLO, TTA and CBLO surgeries and has successfully performed more than 4000 of these surgeries, including on dozens of area veterinarians’ dogs. He has lectured nationally to veterinarians on topics such as surgical management of canine cruciate disease, infection management and innovative techniques in perioperative pain management.
He has also been an active volunteer in organized veterinary medicine having served as president of the Toledo Area Veterinary Medical Association, represented Ohio in the American Veterinary Medical Association’s House of Delegates, President of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and on the board of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society. He is married with two children and in his free time, he enjoys golf and cycling and is a certified ski patroller and member of the National Ski Patrol.
About Dr. Morman
About Dr. Pontius
Dr. Dan Pontius attended the Ohio State University. He graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Prior to his time at West Suburban Animal Hospital, he practiced at hospitals in Napoleon and Northwood. His areas of interest include ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery, as well as canine training and behavior. Dr. Pontius enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, golfing, and exercising. He and his wife have three dogs and two cats (Sherwin and Wobbles).
About Dr. Kalniz
Dr. Julie Kalniz, grew up in Cleveland and obtained her B.S. in biology from Indiana University in 1995. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She has been at West Suburban since 2011. She has three children, two dogs and a horse.
About Dr. Gust
Dr. Gust is a 2014 graduate of Michigan State University (Go Green!). She has been with West Suburban Animal Hospital since 2016. She enjoys getting to know the clients and their pets, with interests in general surgery and dermatology. She performs spay/neuters, mass removals, enucleations, stenotic nares correction, cystotomies, splenectomies, and exploratory surgeries.
During her time out of the clinic, she has four kids that keep her very busy. She is the leader of a local 4-h group and helps her husband with their flower farm in the summer.
About Dr. Rosebrock
Dr. Beth Rosebrock is a graduate of the University of Toledo, and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Rosebrock has been practicing for 20 years in the Toledo area. In her free time, she loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, as well as snuggling up with her two cats, Laney and Braxton, and her parents Golden Retriever, Rosco.
About Dr. Radde
Dr. Stacey Radde is a graduate of the University of Findlay, and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She married her best friend, Brian, and they have rescued two fur babies. She is a football fanatic (Go Bucks and Bears)! She plays in a volleyball league year-round, indoor and sand. Her team has also won the championship 7 times!
