Pet Angular Limb Deformities

Angular limb deformities are orthopedic conditions primarily affecting dogs, and a wide variety of these deformities can occur. The class of angular limb deformities covers bone growth disturbances that develop when the growth plate of a growing bone is damaged, making this a problem that affects young, growing animals. The lower limbs (Radius/Ulna, Tibia/Fibula) are most often affected. At West Suburban Animal Hospital, our Board Certified Veterinarian, Dr. Gary Thompson, is highly skilled in the procedures used to correct these issues.
